Kasimir let us know that Velocity Wrecking Crew has pretty much disbanded, and most of the team players moved to Nicky Cuba’s youth project, the NuSkool University. Last weekend the team had its first real practise session, on Saturday they did mostly drills and such, and on Sunday they got to practise against Aftermath II and SD Mob.

Kasimir sent us a few lines on what he’s been up to and what’s ahead. He’s focused on physical training quite much, as his exchange student curriculum has a lot of sports and gym classes. As a nice addition, he’s picked up tennis again from his earlier years when he used to be quite serious with it. As we heard it, he hasn’t forgotten too much of it and is doing ok on the tennis courts as well as the paintball fields.
While we are waiting for the Turkish Millennium to get into gear, I figured I need to share the coolest kid I’ve seen in a while – a 9-yr old boy who’s been playing with his dad since he was 6. My god think what the little geezer will be by the time of his sweet 16!
The kid and his dad also have a blog that has a lot to read – all of it very positive. The kid is a huge fan of Nicky Cuba and Thomas Taylor, and he’s met both of them on numerous occasions. Especially Nicky has showed great attitude and appreciation towards his little fan as can be read from this post -a really super-nice story that I recommend you to read. My hat’s off for the little guy, his dad and Nicky!
