Oliver Lang has proven to be a great source of valuable facts on the off-season rumors that go around. We posted his first insightful video exposé here, and as he stated in that, he actually has moved to France and is actually quite fluent in French language already! It also turns out that I might be quite fluent as well, even though I’ve never even opened a french book.

Propaintball.com posted up a nice bit of information on the off-season transfers overseas. There seems to be a lot going on, and the effects of the chaotic dash for sponsorships is beginning to show.. Since there has been no announcements of any pro teams receiving a Smart Parts sponsorship, I think the story of one of the longest-running companies in paintball is clearly and undisputedly coming to an end. Albeit everyone is entitled to an opinion, the situation has left the former SP sponsored teams in a frantic search – and the larger effects of SP downfall may even have an effect on the leagues as well. The feature length is 60 minutes, and the release also has a host of bonus features including interviews, bonus game footage and behind the scenes material. Kasimir let us know that Velocity Wrecking Crew has pretty much disbanded, and most of the team players moved to Nicky Cuba’s youth project, the NuSkool University. Last weekend the team had its first real practise session, on Saturday they did mostly drills and such, and on Sunday they got to practise against Aftermath II and SD Mob.

As I came home to drop off some stuff before heading off to meet Janne at the airport after his lengthy return trip from Antalya, I noticed the promisingly thick padded envelope on the floor.. Cool, perfect timing – just grab and go. In the car Janne was excited to see the film, so we figured we’d go to his and Kim’s place where Kim was already recovering from his rough trip home. What better than to throw in the long-waited CK2 DVD from MWAG.
While we are waiting for the Turkish Millennium to get into gear, I figured I need to share the coolest kid I’ve seen in a while – a 9-yr old boy who’s been playing with his dad since he was 6. My god think what the little geezer will be by the time of his sweet 16!
The kid and his dad also have a blog that has a lot to read – all of it very positive. The kid is a huge fan of Nicky Cuba and Thomas Taylor, and he’s met both of them on numerous occasions. Especially Nicky has showed great attitude and appreciation towards his little fan as can be read from this post -a really super-nice story that I recommend you to read. My hat’s off for the little guy, his dad and Nicky!
