Fuengirola Cup Confirmed!

It’s now officially confirmed that the first leg of Millennium Series 2010 will be held 16.-18. april at Fuengirola Beach, Spain.

There were some speculations that the tournament was supposed to take place in Portugal but today Millennium Series declared that the venue will be Fuengirola Beach. I guess it’s appropriate to lock down the spot because the tournament is only 3 months away now.

So the European season 2010 will start at the “beach” only a few weeks after the US season has started at Huntington Beach, CA.

Anyway, start gathering your board shorts, sun screen and sun glasses and get ready for the beach! See you all there! :)

Cyclone Wins Winter Cup 2010 1st round!

I happily announce that Helsinki Cyclone won the first leg of Winter Cup 2010 at Splash Paintball Arena, Tuusula, Finland.

In the preliminary series we won all except one game and were tied with Urho Musta with 12 points. By that we ended up in the final agains Urho Musta and won the game 2-1 despite of Urho’s attempt to push trough our dorito side at the final seconds of the game. Today we were better and I’ll surely hope we continue being better next time :)

Inspire Cup Kirkkonummi

I guess the ’09 season has begun in Finland also.. The purpose for the tournament to us was training and trying some new players and some new tactics… and also to have some fun and kick the season going in our nordic country. And yes, that’s what we did. It was fun to play outside an even more fun to have some new players joining and re-joining the team. So Toni and Niclas, you are more than welcome to our team and family both on and off the field! :) …and the tournament, I guess we were 5th or something in the pro league. See ya all in Ikaalinen :) -Pamppu-

Lisäyksiä edelliseen…

…mutta näin se vaan on että kausi 2008 kaikesta mielenkiintoisuudestaan huolimatta on takana päin. Loppuyhteenvetona sanottakoon että Cyclone VDO:n kausi meni alkukankeudesta huolimatta kokonaisuutena paremmin kuin hyvin ja loppujen lopuksi kakkosdivarin kirkkain pysti löysi tiensä allekirjoittaneen olohuoneeseen. Kiitti vaan :) Joku voisi tietysti sanoa että voitto oli tiukilla ja niinhän siinä tietysti loppujen lopuksi kävi. Vaan kivempi on voittaa kun kilpailu on tiukkaa, eikös?
