The NPPL 2010 Huntington Beach Surf City Open

So first NPPL event for 2010 has started at Huntington Beach today.  With 120 teams ranging from 5-man pump teams to regular 7-man witch is about the same number USPL had last year for Huntington Beach. NPPL has been advertising webcast for their event but so far there isn’t any feed available from uspl.tv. Also there are no score updates from the event to NPPL schedule or any social media. If you want to take an quick peak at Huntington Beach you find at least beach city camera sarcasm. Hopefully the whole event isn’t just an black hole as to results and whats going on down at the beach.

Pro teams will start their games on Saturday and teams in this year are: Oakland Blast, New Port Entourage, St. Louis Avalanche, Chicago Legend, Los Angeles Infamous, Tampa Bay Damage, San Francisco Explicit, Edmonton Impact, Seattle Naughty Dogs, San Diego Dynasty, Sacramento XSV and Indianapolis Mutiny.

PSP Phoenix 2010 Saturday Points and Sunday Finalists

For Sunday PSP Phoenix Pro teams going to the quarter finals are Infamous, Aftershock, Damage, Impact, Red Legion and Dynasty.
In Semi-Pro SK Moscow lost in semi finals 3-7 to Entourage leaving Russians to play for 3rd and 4th place.
We have in Semi-Pro finals RNT Allstarz vs. Entourage.

The 2010 PSP Phoenix Open starting today.

First PSP event for 2010 is starting today in Phoenix at Glendale Youth Sports Complex. Both Semi-Pro and Pro teams start their games on Friday with first game being Seattle CDR vs SK Moscow. SK Moscow is our Millennium Series champions for 2009 and they will for sure be one of the strongest teams in Semi-Pro. First match-up in Pro is Boston Red Legion vs VICIOUS witch is gonna be another interesting match-up. Millennium Series drops Turkey for 2010

Now its official, Millennium Series cuts Turkey and adjusts entry and sponsor fees to reflect having one event less. With even PSP doing only 4 events its about time MS woke up to the reality and cut its weekest event. Hopefully we might now have more teams able to attend in locked divisions but with just one month away from first event it remains to be seen. Millennium Series 2010 Malaga Layout

Millennium Series has published field layout for Fuengirola Beach Cup 2010 in Malaga. Malaga event is held 16.-18. April at the end of Fuengirolas beach. Anyone else noticing layout not using full field size?

Millennium Series and MAXS European Masters venue confirmed.

Millennium Series sent out today news that second leg for Millennium series is confirmed to be in Germany Birburg May 21st to 23rd. Location in Bitburg is the same as where we have used to see the tournament for a number of years now. Good to see the event confirmed as there was some amount of uncertainty due to what happened to an German indoor tournament this winter. Oliver Lang “The Italian Stallion”

Looks like Oliver decided his stay in France was overdue and it was time to visit Italy for some new flavours. I wonder if Olivers Italian would have sounded the same as French? Luckily Oliver decided not to do the presentation wearing speedos but going with more classic style.

Tippmann to buy Procaps?

Last few years have been a tough rollercoaster ride for Procaps with the ride going only downhill. Lately we have been able to even read on public forums the difficulties Procaps has had with cash flow due to selling with credit to distributors that haven’t been able to meet the payments and letting go their best known sales people Opie Thomas and Paul Satler.
