As you’ve noticed, we’ve been having a break of this internet thing due to holidays, births, lazyness. Updates both here and in fecesbook have been rare. Here’s a little update. After the pro school, we’ve been training at our venue 2-3 times a week. Just yesterday we had a game day with Trivoga. Thanks guys! It was a joy to play in the almost cold 25C (that’s 77F for those people still riding their horses to work their lords demesne). We managed only a couple of games, while field walking took much of our time. Personally I would have prefered more game points, but we got a good read of the field.

It’s a modified PSP Chi field with M- replacing the A-bunker in the middle. A lot of blinds and agressive field on both sides. Communication is key as always, when the game divides to the two sides. Reffing is going to be interesting, when both snake and tent sides have strong and easily acguired positions in the 50-line. This will ensure a lot of bunkerings I believe. Also I wouldn’t put past superaggressive teams like Trivoga and Urho, to try run throughs through the M. In the past these situations have been troublesome for Finnish reffs. This year the reffing has been super tight, partly because the Millennium refs comming from Baltic. So here’s me hoping that we will have few incidents. Field is more classical compared to last one but it’s gonna be interesting to see how teams figure this one out.
Coming Caturday we will also try something new. Depending on internet availability we will have a Cyclone SemiLiveScore© for the League. I’ll be posting results point by point for all games. (Disclaimer. This might change to only results reporting if availability of tubes is bad at the venue.) More on this on the game day. Ps. If someone of you guys know a good plugin for posting results/spreadsheets in WordPress, we’d appreciate you letting us know!
