By stumbling around the internet video sites and being a fan of (or liking, as it now goes) everything on Facebook, you get mostly tons of pointless and repetitive c**p, kinda like your million TV channels with nothing good on, ever. Except for Family Guy. On rare occasions, however, something nice crosses your path.
Cory Gadke is filming a documentary of a d2 NPPL team, One18. By the looks of the teaser below, he has a nice sense of style when it comes to directing and editing, so the finished product may well be worth buying. It’s especially interesting to see the grass-roots stuff of teams that have to get by the everyday problems just to get to tournaments, let alone squeezing a podium finish occasionally. I feel so much closer to these guys than the endless torrent of Pro player profiles and I’m definately waiting for the release of the DVD.
