In the past we did a post on Sawyer Smith, a young kid into paintball with his dad. Now PBLiveTV has had Sawyer do a bunch of Pro Player interviews for them, and at least I can’t help a grin sneeking up watching the video. The fun little interview sniplets boast a group of big-name players such as LA Ironmen’s Brandon Short, Scott Kemp and Mike Paxson as well as Junior Brown and Thomas Taylor from XSV. Malaga report: The long way home..
It might seem that this report is late on arrival but I assure you it is not. Because of Pinatubo2 in Iceland our players have been arriving home during the weekend almost a week later then scheduled. Here’s what happened:

Last night Dye precision Ltd’s European Office in Croydon, Surrey was broken into.
Most of the goods that were stolen were the NT’s and DM10’s and a few loaders and SLG’s.
The police have been called and a full investigation will be taking place.
At this point we would to call upon you guys, the paintball community to do whatever they can to help us in tracking down the stolen goods and the people responsible.
We ask you all keep your eyes and ears open and let us know of any “to good to be true deals” or from any unusual sources. These guns will no doubt appear, more than likely in the UK market.
Any information will be treated in the strictest of confidence and if it proves to be key in finding the goods and those that stole them, you will be rewarded appropriately.
The Guns Stolen Will Include Team PGA NTs… Also including some cosmetically Flawed Ano’d Nexus Teams guns that were to be returned and will be easily identifiable.
We thank you all for your co-operation and understanding at this time.

Bricks on “snake” make their way over the pond. 50% of the field is the same as in Malaga. Maybe it’s to make the change small for those Malaga games yet to be played. Millennium Series Proposal for teams that were stopped by the volcano
The Millennium Series posted a release on Spirit of Paint regarding the “force majeure” obstructed teams for the locked divisions:

After much consideration and consultation we have arrived at what we believe is the fairest solution for all teams in order to complete Malaga and continue the season with the least impact and disruption to all.For all the teams that attended Malaga it is our intention to complete remaining games in Bitburg with some additional scheduling. In order to achieve this we will very much appreciate and require a degree of assistance from some teams.

NPPL Super 7 World Series Chicago Event
NPPL has now released official layout for their next event in Chicago, May 29 – 31 at CPX Sports. Registration is also open for Chicago so it will be interesting to see how numbers turn out after Huntington Beach.

Morning brought us a thunderstorm. And were not talking about a light shower, but a full on car wash effect. So we setup a scouting party, me, to go to the site to find out schedules and all. So I setup to walk over and got wet through to my boxers, even with a raincoat. Should’ve brought my fishing trousers and Wellingtons with me. When I got to the site; the esteemed owners of Millennium were having a bit of breakfast, but desicion should be comming shortly. I asked them, if it was possible to get this on the webs and they confirmed this. Might this comment have started something never seen: Official statements on the site and even by email?
