The First guys from Cyclone arrived at the Antalya airport on wednesday evening, continuing with a pre-aranged taxi to the south of Kemer, where the venue is located. Upon arrival to the hotel we met a very nice Russian photographer, and we had a pleasant time getting to know each other in the traditional slavic hospitality..

The entire event is held at hotel Limak Limar’s soccer pitch and the green park area, entirely on hotel grounds, that is. The surface is absolutely gorgeous, natural grass the quality of a golf green. We’ll have to see what the property owners think of the event on monday with the beautiful grass more or less devastated..
Since the Turkish leg of the Millennium series is located outside the EU borders and quite far from the northern and western parts of the continent, there is no tradeshow but all the major manufacturers are on location with a tech service. Otherwise the area of Kemer seems quite peaceful with the major part of the tourism season behind. A lot of the other hotels in the area have already closed for the season and turned their eyes on the summer season of 2010.
The plan for thursday was to review the gameplans and to go to the site to scout some practise games that were played. Unfortunately, the finnish season has been over for a while and we have not had the possibility to train on the layout. On friday, we need to be very focused and ready to change the plans on the fly if necessary. Playing on this venue will be a BLAST!
